Capilano Makerspace Open House May 24 6:30-8:30PM

The Edmonton Public Library is hosting an info session about the new Capliano library with a focus on the Makerspace on May 24 in the evening 6:30-8:30. A makerspace is a place where people can make things using physical materials or computers with specialized software. Some examples of things people do at the downtown makerspace include creating 3D printed objects and vinyl stickers. (see www.epl.ca/makerspace for more info) They are requesting input from the community about what kind of equipment and programming they should have in the makerspace at the new Capilano library. They are hoping to get community members to take a really quick survey to help inform the decisions we make about our new space. Here is the link: https://cplmakerspacesurvey.questionpro.ca
